What is FAITH Training All About? |
|
FAITH training is designed to:
-
Disciple our members to grow
in their personal relationship with GOD using quality teaching materials.
-
Equip our members to
effectively share the gospel with friends, family, co-workers and
strangers.
-
Strengthen and build our
Sunday School classes by developing meaningful relationships and
encouraging members to reach out to others.
|
How Do I Get Involved? |
|
At the beginning of each
semester there is an opportunity to sign up for FAITH.
If you would like more information, please contact Bro. J. Anthony Wingate
(833-1193) or Dea. Larry Chapman (890-4452). |
Who Can Be Involved In FAITH? |
|
Anyone who is a member
of Fellowship MB Church, attends church regularly, has completed New Members
Orientation and is active in a Sunday School class can participate in
FAITH. The Bible is clear about our responsibility to witness. (Matthew
28:19-20; Mark 1:17; Mark 16:15) Witness in the New Testament means being a
verbal witness, one person telling another the good news of the gospel. We
all need to be equipped to be obedient to GOD’s command to share the good
news |
Why FAITH Training? |
|
II Timothy 2:1-2 says we are to entrust the gospel
“to faithful men who will be able to teach others also”. FAITH provides an
effective way of training us to multiply ourselves as active witnesses. The
FAITH outline is a gospel presentation that is easy to memorize and
understand.

When Is FAITH Training? |
|
FMBC has two nine-week
semesters each year that run February through April and September through
November. FAITH meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Celebration Time:
is 6:00 – 6:20. This is a special time of celebrating, reflecting and
sharing about the visits from last week’s outings.
Team and Teaching
Time: begins at 6:20. The Facilitator reviews homework and learners
take a few minutes to review with each other memorization homework. You
then proceed to teaching time where you are challenged with a lesson
designed to improve your effectiveness in sharing your FAITH.
Visitation Time:
begins at 7:30. Each team goes out to visit and share the gospel. You will
observe and learn how to do the “FAITH Outline”.
Homework:
During the week you will have home study assignments to supplement what you
are learning in the classroom. This personal time will help you journal
your experience and focus on ways GOD is helping you in your journey of
FAITH. |
